    Empowering Women Through Tradition and Innovation

    TNH is a flagship initiative focused on producing and marketing premium quality handmade textiles and embroidery products sourced from skilled artisans in the Hunza Valley and surrounding regions. Our aim is empowering local artisans, particularly women by providing sustainable livelihoods and preserving thr region’s rich heritage of craftmanship.

    Under the Craft loop initiative, Thread Net Hunza has engaged 20 female artisans, including 7 women with disabilities (PWDs) providing them with sustinable livelihoods and a platform to showcase their skill. Our product portfolio showcases local craftmanship, featuring an equisite selection of; Locally inspired textile products and handicrafts and Embroidered and cross stitched items like Gems and Jewelry.

    Focus Areas

    1. Preservation of Traditional Craftmanship: Promote and preserve local embroidery techniques. 2. Empowerment of Local Artisans: Provide Sustainable livelihoods and opportunities for skilled artisans. 3. Quality and Authenticity: Ensure high quality, authentic products that reflect local culture.

    Empowering Through Skill Development

    Currently, 27 women are actively participating in The Craft Loop, undergoing hands-on training with two professional designers. These training sessions equip participants with the skills to create innovative, high-quality products inspired by traditional crafts. By blending heritage techniques with contemporary aesthetics, the initiative not only preserves cultural identity but also introduces unique designs to new markets.
